I lost an ebay auction for "Vintage Lusina Geneve wristwatch". I do not know how vintage it really was, or how much I should have bid. I could not find anything about Lusina on the web, so I guess it is one of the companies that are long gone.
I am not a watch expert, but I really fell for that one.
Please, could anyone tell me more about it?
Could you tell me where can I buy it?
I attached picts, I hope they give a better description.

I do not have better photos, I did not win the watch...

The watch is a generic swiss brand that would have very little collector value. Thousands of small watch companies have come and gone over the years, leaving little trace of their existance. The watch shown probably dates from the 1960s. You can find similar generic swiss watches selling for <$50.

Thank you for your reply. I know that the company ceased to exist in '70, and that the watch is probably not very valuable.
But I truly fell for the design (as other people unfortunately, there was a real fight over it on ebay:-(. I'm not a collector, so I don't mind collecting worthless stuff;)

Does anyone have a tip where I can look for watch like this (well, not "like this": this one!)
I've posted my WTB in several places, I've also written to coulpe of companies trading vintage watches. What else can I do?

The easiest way: writing to the bloke who won it with a tempting offer is not possible. The auction was private, hence hidden IDs.

I was fortunate to pick up this vintage Lusina 18 jeweled waterproof automatic winding (circa '60's?) a little while back. Most of the members on this forum probably know volumes more than I. All I know is this Lusina is a beautiful, well-operating piece. I can see why you'd like this brand watch, even though we appear to favor slightly different eras.
