We have a watch that my wife does not wear because she feels the band is uncomfortable. I would like to sell it, but would like to do some homework first. See the photo of the watch face. The back of case and band are stamped "Omega" and "18k". The band is a nice gold-looking mesh with stylized interlocking hearts.

Any chance you have a shot of the back? There is something about this watch that doesn't look right to me.

Hi Thomas, sorry to bear bad news, but in my opinion this is a forgery. Zaf |

We bought it for about $45.00 because it was a nice-looking watch. At the time, I didn't know Omega from Alpha. I suppose it's probably worth what we spent. Is it even Swiss? If a person looks only at the brand name and Swiss-made, I can see where deception is possible. |

I doubt the case is Swiss, probably Far East Origin like Hong Kong. At that price it's unlikely to be gold either. There is an outside chance the insides are Omega, but you won't know until you open it. |
