I am currently having a Jaeger LeCoultre WWII era watch case restored. It was/is in very poor condition - pitted, lugs worn down, etc. I think the person doing it is taking long, but I'm not sure. How long should a job like this take? One month? six? more? Please help. Thanks |

What price would a Jaeger LeCoultre WWII era Pocket watch (non-military issue) fetch? What would it have cost when new in the 1940s?

Many thanks for replying. The case metal is Chrome, but worn in places - especially at the back. Its got the number 467/2 inside. On the centre of the inside back cover its got the no. 403475. |

In the order of $250. The chrome plated case was not some of their best case work. For the same movement fitted into the Military WWII pocket watch, prie is about $350 for very clean examples -which are actually hard to find- because the chrome and dial quality was so poor. |

Thanks again. Internally it looks like new, but externally not great. |
