Hello, I recently purchased an Omega man's watch from a private seller. It is 18k gold with what appears to be a gold dial which is gold-painted in the middle...the dial having the Omega symbol in gold and stating "Omega, Automatic, Chronometre". According to the seller, the movement is a Cal. 30.10 RARG and the watch dates to the mid-late 1940's. It is a bumper movement. Would anybody know where I could get information on this movement...reference books etc.? Thanks! Dirik Lolkus |

There is an Omega specific book by Anton Kreuzer called "Omega Designs". It indicates that this movement was first produced in 1942. I believe the "RG" suffix indicates that it is a chronometer grade movement. Zaf |
