Gubelin is a Cartier/Tiffany like retailer. They sell both watches and jewelry, so the watch is more than likely made by someone else with their name put on the dial. Just like Tiffany would do. What neeeds to be done is to identify the movement. Any chance at a scan? If we find out who made the movement, then we can deduce value.

as desired by you, please find herein attached the scans of E-GUBELIN TIME PIECE - FRONT & BACK. The movement also carries the name E-GUBELIN. Please excuse the lack of clarity of the scan. This is so on account of glare/reflection of the Gold Dial.

I need to find out more about the Gubelin travel clock I picked up at an antiques show. It's ster-
ling with red & Black enamel and a pretty pattern on the red part. It is approx. 32mm wide x 36mm high (48mm w/bale). On the inside of the back is
the imprint E.Gubelin Switzerland .935 55 367
Patent No. 125267. I would really appreciate any info I can get on this.

Does it open and close horizontally? A picture really helps.
