my wife has recently come across this watch - it appears to have been in her family for some time and we are seeking more information on its origins. We believe Pierce is Swiss in origin. It is stamped .375 on the side by the winder, which we believe indicates it is 9ct gold. Inside it appears to say 15 jewels and has the number RS 227626 stamped on the inside back plate. pictures attached. We'd appreciate any information - it does not currently seem to work which we would look to address if it has any intrinsic value.

9k is for watches sold in Britain and commonwealth. These are not all that popular right now due to their small size, so value isn't a whole lot more than the gold itself.
