I wonder if anybody could suggest anything about a Baume Swiss watch, formerly belonging to my late Grandfather.I know that this is difficult without a picture ( which I am as yet unable to put on)... But is a plain gold watch marked "Baume, 17 jewels,Incabloc & Swiss Made" variously.I've read that "Baume" were an importer, unconnected to the well-known Baume & Mercier. The watch is obviously of great value to me, even if it is a "generic Swiss Watch" ! Anything anybody can suggest about it is much appreciated. |

I believe you are correct in that Baume is a "generic Swiss Watch" not connected to Baume & Mercier. I don't know more past that, sorry. |
