I wonder if there is some information available about Swiss watch manufacturer Docker. My grandfather (from Poland) gave me an old, 18K gold, 17 rubis, Docker wristwatch. The glass cover is unique because it isn't flat. There are some engravings on the back:
18K 0.750
symbol 104 (in a rectangular box)
number 107 (perhaps a serial number)
and something that looks like a female's head.
I believe that the watchmaker no longer exists but the watch is still working and makes wonderful sound. I have no idea how old is this watch and its value. Since I live in the Chicago area, does it make sense to send this watch to UK for cleaning?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I have not heard of the brand. Why would you send a watch to the UK for a simple service? Several places (including myself) could handle that for you in the US.
