Hi
I have quite a heavy ingot type lady's watch which is stamped for .0750 (18k)(English hall marks)
The hall mark dates the watch case to 1937. The dial is signed "Dunhill"(and is the same design as the Dunhill sig today). The movement is by the UTI watch co.As far as I have been able to tell so far, Alfred Dunhill started to sell his hi grade watches in around 1936. Have I luckily dropped on a rare Dunhill?, if so any idea of value?

Thanks
Greg beaumont.

Hi Zaf,
A couple of photo's as requested.
The gold is thick and not onion skin. It has two punch marks in the back of the case, I cannot see any poincon marks in them, but they look like they are not an afterthought.

Well, I think value on something like this will be largely determined by who made the movement. If it's something like Longines/Omega for example, it will be worth a lot less than something made by Jaeger, Audemars, etc. In any event, as a ladies it watch it will not be worth a ton of money however rare.
