I own a Gold 18 Kt. Pocket Watch `Favre Leuba & Co., Bombay & Calcutta with MINUTE REPEATER, STOP WATCH & sunken sub seconds Case No.2091. This fine time piece was acquired by a equestrian enthusiast and has a painting of a jockey riding horseshoe [08 diamonds encrusted] in the front and a painting of a thoroughbred race horse with a jockey thereon on the rear opening thereof. I need further information about this fine time piece. I shall be extremely grateful if I am furnished with the details of this watch or on the other hand if I am directed to the right place to obtain the same. HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE MANUFACTURER ????

Hi. It sounds like you have something special. Here is an example of a similar vain I found:

http://catalog.antiquorum.com/dettagli.html?idcatalogo=20000506&numlotto=242&des c_cat=1

I'm going to guess that Favre Leuba no longer exists as an independent manufacturer, possibly dying out in the 1970s, but I'll contact you if I run accress anything.

Things like that are always hard to value and require a lot of research. In the end, you can 90% of time identify who made the movement and that will be the basis of the valuation. If you can't, then factors like the jewel count, how fine the workmanship, the type of regulation, etc come into play.
