I have a longines pocket watch, it is marked Longines on movement but that is it. Case is marked Longines also and has number 449269. Movement measures about 34mm. It is a lever set, key wind watch. Looks as though it could be stem wind also but crown is missing. Can you give an approximate age of this watch? thanks Jim

Are you sure it's real? It looks a little crude to be a Longines product. They're normally fairly high grade for early pieces. This looks to be a low jewel movement (like 7).

Jim, I can't get over the movement. I don't think that's real Longines. The dial looks OK and the case is a maybe. Something is going on here. However, even if it is all Longines, the value is relatively low anyways. It would date to the mid to late 1800s.
