Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me date and value my pocket watch as I'm thinking of selling it. I've taken some pictures but they are really rubbish compared to others on here! The case is silver and has some dints on it. It has a crisscross pattern on the front and back.
Inside the front & back cover it has 0,800 and the number 84955
On the face which is white it says 'specially made for' 'C Ardesher & Co' 'Bombay & Calcutta' Swiss made. The numbers are roman numerals and the hands have a blueness in the light. There is a seconds dial too. The face is in very good condition.
The back has a dust cover with METAL and 84955 on it and two holes to wind up the watch (I have the key) On the mechanism it has Couroisier Freres swiss made 84955 and coat of arms with the same words on. There is a lever that can be pointed at S or F. The watch is FULLY WORKING
I'm not sure what else to tell you, but I would appreciate any advice you could give me on the best place to sell something like this. Thanks in advance Jenny |

The movement is too fuzzy to be sure, but judging from the movement plate design, I don't think you have anything that's all that expensive. |
