I have owned this minute repeating chronometer pocketwatch for 7 years. It is in a .935 silver case. When I bought it, the repeating mechanism worked, although not particularly well (it chimed faintly and slowly). Now, it is not chiming at all. Also, I don't believe the Chrono function is working properly, either. I am interested in finding a reliable watchmaker who can service the watch, ideally someone who is located in Canada or the US.

I can have my guy service the watch, but this type of repair isn't cheap. In order of $500-600+, it's really by estimate, he'd need to see it first. |

I think its worth sinking $500 - $600 into this timepiece to get it fully functional again. I hope there isn't too much wrong with it, just in need of a serious cleaning. Can we take this offline to discuss next steps? |
