My grandfather died recently leaving me a Buren mens pocket watch; it says 'Grand Prix' under 'Buren' on the front and inside the back it says 15 Jewels. It's in a Nickle/Chromium plated case so I'm not expecting it to be worth anything, but if anybody has any information about this kind of watch I would be really grateful - I can't find out anything about it! It's in full working order which is great, but any information is well received! Thanks!
Hi Buren is a mid-range Swiss maker that was bought by Hamilton in the 1960s. I do not believe it exists as a brand anymore. Value of a chrome plated pocket watch will be low, i.e. circa $50 or less.
