HELP!!!
I inherited a pocket watch. It is heavy gold, marked 14k in a number of places. It is a hunter cased minute repeater with a porcelain face, roman numerals(including 4 as IIII)and a seperate small second hand between the center of the face and 6 o'clock. To set the time you pull a small lever at 4 o'clock. It runs perfectly and keeps excellent time. Cosmetically it is in wonderful shape. I've been scrounging around the net and can't find much in the way of information on the maker. It is marked E. Bourquin & Fils, Geneva on both the case and the movement. I got next to no information from the family about it. What do I have? Where can I find out more? No, it's not for sale. I'd just like to find out what I have. Thanks in advance,
Jim

My Universal Tricompax does not fit snugly in its case. The seller tells me it needs a movement ring my watchmaker says a dust cover. Who is right? And does anybody know somebody that has one or can make one? The watch is mint other than this.I'm in California.

Sorry, Jim I have not heard of the brand on the E. Borquin.

Carlo, I do not think the tricompax uses a dustcover, but there are so many differnet models it would be impossible to say for sure unless I have the watch in hand.
