I would like to obtain information about the value of a three dial Zelus 17 jewel movement chronograph. It has a 14k gold case and is in fair condition. The watch keeps excellent time as long as it is wound regularly.

Hi, you didn't mention if it has 2 or 3 registers. Assuming 2, and that the case is not of the paper thin variety, figure $400-550, maybe less if condition is at issue.

Zaf, have you seen 14K paper thin cases? I've only seen them in 18K (which makes even less sense). It was a clever idea for it's time but they really don't hold up well. I don't think I've ever seen one with three registers or anything but a Landeron or Venus movement.

Correct, I don't believe I've seen 14k paper thin cases. Weird.
