I have a Audemars Piguet open face pocket watch model 4667, 18k, "Extra Superior", adjusted, signed on the face and movement. It was engraved in Feb. 1903, so I always assumed it was made in 1902, but does anyone have a catalog that would link the model number to the date of manufacture? It was engraved as a gift to my grandfather, but I am curious to learn if perhaps his father had acquired it earlier. I am also curious about the value - I looked in the price guide at this site but did not find this model listed. Thanks for any help you can give. |

Hi. I can give an approximate date of manufacture with the movement serial number though the engraving is likely a better indicator. Many times the movements sat around before being cased. As fas as value, I'm going to guess $1000 to $1600 if it's just a time only watch, a lot more if it has any complciations. |
