I have a Zentra (written 3entra) which I would
like to get more information on and some help
in restoring it to its original look.

Which country do these watches come from ?

I need to get some original (or near original
hands and crown for this as they were ruined/lost
by an unsympathetic repairer. Any suggestions for
a suitable restorer ?

The watch has a rloex-like crown, 3entra, ANGRE
and 21 RUBIS at around 11 oclock and INCABLOC
around 4 oclock. Can anyone identify this model
and perhaps provide a description or ideally
a photo of the original hands & crown.

Ideally repond to me at [email protected]

Many thanks.

Rob

Hi, Rob. I believe it is a Swiss watch, given that the description of the movement is in French. It has 21 jewels and Incabloc, which is a type of shock protection. Unless it is somehting that is recently made, I think you'd be hard pressed to find original hands for it, so your best bet is to find a sympathetic watchmaker to try to match them up, whih should be too hard. Where are you? We can maybe hope for someone on this discussion board to recommend a watchmaker in your area.

On second thought, it may be a German maker, that may have moved to Swiss movements at some point.

I think Zaf is right.
Zentra is a german brand. They have never made
own movements, but used all they could get. Swiss,
german and french ebauches. Maybe you could add
scans of dial and movement?

I have also recently aquired a very nice looking
ZentRa gold vintage? watch in near perfect condition but no one seems to have any idea as to
the date of manufacture or it`s value.i would appreciate any information you experts could offer. Here are the words on the face from top to bottom.ZentRa or 3entRa,underlined.Underneath It has Schwebering.on the lower face it reads DOPPELT.Directly under that is the word,STOSSGESICHERT.
On the rear of the watch are the words,STOSSICHER-WASSERDICHT-BODEN EDELSTAHL.D.B.-AUSL.-PATENT.Closer to the middle on the back,in a circle it reads twice.
directly in the center of the back it reads,ZentRa MODELL.

Zentra is a German brand, generally not all that valuable. They produced some watches for the German armed forces of WWII. These can fetch $200 to $400 but generally eveything else is less.

The marking on your watch state that it is shock protected, stainless steel & waterproof (or things to that effect).

Have got a ladies Boden Edelstahl 14 Karat watch (no strap). It appears to be working as I've just wound it up and it's keeping time! Can't quite read what it says on the face, but something like "Glasfitte 17 Rubis". Does anybody know anything about this type of watch, age/origin? Its got a serial number on it: 057546. Any info. greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an East German "Glashutte" watch, probably not worth a whole lot.

Hi, recently I have bought a very nice Zentra from around 1920th in gold. Can anyone tell anything about this watch?
