I have an old 21 Jewel Automatic Titoni Space Star Cosmo 88 but am unable to set the Day/date.

Unlike my Japanese automatics, it doesn't have the dial come out 2 clicks. I have seen it set by the vendor in Thailand by winding it backward and forward around the 12 oclock position?!

If anyone can explain to me how to do this, I would be most appreciative.

Usually, on a old day/date you can "quickset" the date by passing 12:00 Midnight with the hands and then setting the time back to 9:30-10:00 PM and then moving them back to 12:00.
