When were they made? Is this a desirable watch? Did Longines guarantee the accuracy of this watch?

Which model are we talking about? There are many watches designated as "Ultra Chron" which seems to refer to Longines house name for "Chronometer". It doesn't refer to a specific watch.

The Ultra-Chron I'm inquiring about in particular is my father's, which I believe was bought sometime in the '60s. It is referred to as a high-beat movement. "Ultra Chron" is written on the dial.
Thanks,
Ron

The late 1960s would be when the high beat untra chrono movement came out. I don't know if they guaranteed accuracy (I doubt it). It's a nice watch, but not a top tier watch in terms of desirability.

What's the question exactly? I'm having a hard time making it out from the photo.

I'm not sure what kind of info you're looking for, it likely a late 1960s early 1970s watch. Probably chronometer grade movement, but that style isn't all that desirable. You didn't say what metal the case is made of, call it $250 if plated or steel and around $400 if solid 14k gold, maybe another $50 if 18k. But this is just to give you a rough idea.
