When were they made? Is this a desirable watch? Did Longines guarantee the accuracy of this watch? |

Which model are we talking about? There are many watches designated as "Ultra Chron" which seems to refer to Longines house name for "Chronometer". It doesn't refer to a specific watch. |

The Ultra-Chron I'm inquiring about in particular is my father's, which I believe was bought sometime in the '60s. It is referred to as a high-beat movement. "Ultra Chron" is written on the dial. Thanks, Ron |

The late 1960s would be when the high beat untra chrono movement came out. I don't know if they guaranteed accuracy (I doubt it). It's a nice watch, but not a top tier watch in terms of desirability. |

I'm not sure what kind of info you're looking for, it likely a late 1960s early 1970s watch. Probably chronometer grade movement, but that style isn't all that desirable. You didn't say what metal the case is made of, call it $250 if plated or steel and around $400 if solid 14k gold, maybe another $50 if 18k. But this is just to give you a rough idea. |
