Hi, Wondering about the approximate date of manufacture for the Tudor Prince below. I was told on purchase that the dial had been refinished at some point and the watch was vintage c. 1950s. Movement is ETA 2451. Additionally, if I wanted to add a bracelet to this watch, would it be more historically appropriate to purchase a Rolex bracelet or Tudor (with shield)? Thank you!

Hi there. Are you sure this is the real deal? There is a rash of Tudor fakes out there, and though it is always difficult to be certain from a scan, I'd say this is one of them. Zaf |

Some asian countries are flooded with newly made vintage style Tudors. They are equipped with ETA2452 and ETA1080 type movements with newely added Tudor engraving and a recond dial. The stainless steel casing is very nicely made also. Very bad. |
