I received a Swiss pocket watch from my father today, Arabic numerals, 9-3 face inwards, 4-8 face outwards, excepting 6 which is replaced by inset recessed seconds marked '17 jewels'. Top says 'TRAUB BROS & Co.' on enamel face, bottom says 'SWITZERLAND', blue steel hands, open case in gold (looks like 18k or higher). Looking for clues as to mfr. and age. Thanks! |
