Can anyone help with information as to manufacturer and value of my old silver pocket watch from 1744. The watch has been in my family since 1918 when my grandfather returned from Sibiria where he had been interned for a long period of time after beíng captured by the Russians during World War I. My grandfather was a Dane from the southern part of Jutland, he and many other Danes were forced to serve in the German Army because the soutern part of Jutland was seized by Germany for many years until 1920. |
