I have a YGF Waltham pocketwatch, size 12, model 94, grade 220, with a hunter's case. Runs well. Curious about its value.

Thanks,
Ron

Try posting this query to alt.horology, or check Schugart's price guide- this is the standard price guide for watch collecting. You can also check ebay for auctions that have ended which feature similar watches to get an idea of what they're going for. Hunters seem to be rather in demand right now.

I don't know how Shuggart is for pockets, but on Wrists Watches the prices are generally pure fantasy and have frequently not been undated in 15 years.

I have my grandfather's pocket watch-- dated around 1883. Do you have an idea of the approximate value--Waltham, Mass., 724372,2,082741

For pockets you still may want to give the Cooksey & Shuggart guide for prices. I think they may be more in line as the authors are pocket watch collectors at heart, which we are not.
