Hello, I recently inherited a watch from my father, and was wondering whether you could supply some information on the watch history. I have attached a scanned image for your reference. The case is 18ct, and the band is 18ct rolled gold, which I don't think is original. There is a serial number on the back 292634 Thanks |

It's a 1940s to very early 1950s watch. The cases on these are generally thin, value is usually $600 to $900. Perhaps slightly more if it's a thicker 18k case. |

Zaf, I had an identical Titus Chrono (picture attached). I can confirm the Titus is indeed a thin onionskin case. Virtually identical to the other Chronograph Suisse watches. I think I got about $1,400 for my watch about 2 years ago, but it was in mint/unused new old stock condition. Not a mark on it. Your price range estimate is about right, but I would favor the low end of the scale for a Titus in average condition. I'm picking up 18K Chrono Suisse watches for $400-$500 all the time.
