I have a ladies wristwatch with the following markings: On the bracelet: "STURDYMAIL". Inside the case (nothing on the exterior) is "18K" "SPILLMANN" "SWISS" and "169702". There are also several engraved numbers on the inside of the case, very hard to read but one is definitely "-6024" and the other looks like "3/20/26". The movement has the following: "Elegia" "Manfred" "2 TWO Adjustments" "FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS". Upon perusing this forum, I seem to be able to conclude the case maker is Spillmann, and the watch maker is unclear, since I find nothing relating to Elegia. The 18K leads me to believe the watch is in white gold, as it is not yellow in color. If anyone has any tips on research, answers or needs more info (photos) I will be happy to discuss. Thanks in advance. Bob |
