I have in storage a Mathey-Tissot wind up gold watch. I don't know the year but I would guess that my Grandfather bought it in about 1930-1935 or there abouts. It doesn't have any other information on it. It is in good but not great condition. I know that this is probobly not enough to say how much its worth but i was wondering if you could take a ballpark guess or direct me to a site with an illustrated price guide (which I have had a hard time finding.) Thanks A Lot!!!

Can't find in your guide: Hamilton, Ladies, Model #751, 17 Jewel movement. 14K gold watch and double strap band. Made in Lancaster, PA, in the 1960's. Looking for a price?

It'll be the price of the nearest match you can find in the guide. There isn't that much fluctuation in prices in ladies watches from model to model. So you'd be looking at most ladies 14k watches in the same ball park, add more if diamonds or platinum, etc.

I have a Benrus ladies wrist watch has the numbers 19962 on the back along with "fifteen jewels" it also has R S and A F stamped on the back. The case says "made in the USA Benrus 14 kt. Gold supported by metal". It has some other numbers scratched into it (4413/27; 1190; 741075 I think). It has a blue (saphire?) in the wind and the jewels are red. Any idea of the worth?

Unfortunately not much. The ladies watches are in the $50 + weight of the gold ballpark. "kt. Gold supported by metal" sounds like a different way of saying that it is a gold plate of some kind.

Hello,
I've got a Vulcain Centenary from WWII (mid 1940's) with sterling ID band/braclet that has officers name, rank serial # engraved. The casing is stainless steel. Back also reads"incabloc, waterprotected, swiss made and R3627A". Shows date and still keeps time.
Have you any idea of it's value?

Thank you.

Christy,

Unfortunately, not all that much, maybe $100 to $150. I don't think the watch is from the 1940s (but I can be wrong), it looks more like a late 1950s piece, so I'd guess that the bracelet was originally on something else. I think the Aircorps turned into the USAF in 1948 so the bracelet would be before 1948.

Best,
Zaf
