This Jaeger was purchased by my grandfather for my grandmother while on business for the U.S. Government in Israel in 1965. It is quite small; roughly 16mm in diameter and appears to be yellow gold. Could you tell me about the watch? Is there any way to know what caliber movement is inside it without opening the caseback? What model is it and what is its approximate value?

I was not able to figure out how to post pictures here, so I created a webpage with them. Please take a look at them here:

Thanks very much in advance!

Hi. Not sure it has a model name, many JLC just had a catalog reference and no name. Approximate value is about $225-275 if 14k and $300-350 if 18k. No way to tell caliber w/o opening it.

Hello. I have a rare old wristwatch, that I have been trying to identify but no luck. I have looked in every catalog on & off line for years,I have taken it to coutless jewelry shops & no 1 has ever seen or heard of this watch, maybe you can help me, as I like to know it's value & sell it ASAP. I will give you as much info as I can on it ,here it is. The face is triangular in shape,on the face it says 'HILTON',on the back it says '17 jewels, swiss made, stainless steel back, inside it says 'MOD.DOP.INT.' If you need more information ,tell me & I will get it for you. It's in fine working condition. My uncle left it to me when he passed about 25 years ago, he had it for about 20/25 years. He got it from a friend. I think the friend got it for working for a company for over 30 + years, but Im not sure about that part. My name is Nelson, my home phone is:323,585,9128.I have yahoo messenger were we can chat free. I thank you & hope you can help & do bussiness with me.

We've had a few Hiltons, it is one of 1,000s of miscellaneous Swiss nameplates that are not that collectible, so value is likely low. Yours like like it has a plated top of some kind and a stainless back.
