Here is some info on Bulova:

http://www.vintagewatchpriceguide.com/asp/watches/manufacturer.asp?code=20

The valkue of your watch basically depends on how long it is. Anywhere from $200 to $400.

Thanks zaf for the link very useful, the watch is only 31mm (I guess I have to measure the case only?). Furthermore, I have discovered that the watch is from 1951 (has the L1 on the back) and a 7 digit number 3766318. Is that useful information in determining price? And does anybody have a sggestion for a good store to go to in Manhattan?
Thanks.

You would measure the watch tip to tip including the lugs on a rectangular watch and the diameter of the case on a round one.

I have a 1972 Bulova Accutron ladies wrist watch. I am having difficulty finding someone to repair it. Any suggestions
Also, I have a ladies Tissot, gold casing. Could you tell me how much it is worth. I got an estimate to service it, IE New crystal, and wanted to make sure the watch is worth more than the estimate I got. It is a 1980's model.
Thanks
Linda

I have a 1972 ladies 14k gold band and case Bulova Accutron wristwatch. Any idea of its value? It runs, but needs servicing.

Ladies stuff, of brand like Bulova, gruen, etc. is generally in this ballpark:

Value of gold + $50.

Probably not worth fixing unless it has sentimental value.
