I was perusing your website in the hopes of finding some information on a watch that I have so I can intelligently price it for sale. It is a ladie's Waltham, the case is solid 14k gold; reads Waltham 14k Gold on top back, lower back the numbers 4894. The face of the watch has Waltham at the top and Swiss at the bottom, ''25 just under the hands. The band is expandable, matches the style of the watch, gold on top and but stainless underneath (unlike watch which has a gold back and front) with patent numbers on the part attached to the watch, patent numbers on the stainless steel underside just past the part attached to the watch, and on the first link on the underside a triangle with jb inside of it and the name Champion U.S.A. All the rest of the links on the underside have two triangles on them with the jb inside. I was reluctant to open the watch to see how many jewels it might be, but perhaps the "25 on front means 25 jewels? Or maybe 1925.... I haven't a clue. The watch is in clean condition, good crystal, fairly clean face (one small dusty/oxidized spot near the "25) and wound too tight. Would you happen to know the history of this watch, and possibly what it could be worth? I can't find anything like it anywhere I've searched..... Thank you so very much, M Marie McVey |

Hi. It isn't worth much, in the best of cases $100 but more like $60-70. Zaf |
