I inherited this wristwatch in 1985 from my grandfather who had it for many years. I am in need of advice regarding it's value (for insurance or potential sale). Can anyone recommend someone to appraise it? (I live in Orange County, California, U.S.A.) |

OK, in 14k gold value would be around $400 to $550. We have a few listed at: http://www.vintagewatchpriceguide.com/ But you need to sign up for it. Zaf |

Kirk--You might try routing your request for a local appraiser through NAWCC at http://www.nawcc.org/. I too have acquired an antique UN watch circa 1914-1920 that I am attempting to value. Good luck |

Maybe you could find some information at www.watchmonger.com, they have a good amount of watch information sites also. |

Just a small Note: These are from the "Ulysse Nardin Chronometer Co.", they are not necessarily chronometers. Since the dial on your example has been refinished, you would need to examine the movement to see if it is in fact a chronomter grade watch. |
