First off all hi to everyone. I have this single pusher swiss chronograph but dial is in bad shape and i cant determin the brand. So If someone can determin the watch movement that could be helpful. There are no specific marks on movement ,its 17 jewel, but under the dial on the movement is stamped : brevet 5414 (that means patent) and swiss cross mark +. Also under the dial on movement is stamped number 20. On the back side of the dial is stamped:; Singer , Chaux de fonde, and number 37, that is also the movement diameter in mm.Also I found on net some pics of same movement in Damas and Postala watches but also unsigned.
![movement my watch](47550_small.jpg)
.Could it be some of Minerva Cal.20 movements ( but I could not find any with 37 mm dia.) or maybe Landeron?Any suggestions are welcome!

Also the movement is identical with Hanhart cal.40/50 , and the diameter is matching ,but im not sure that is Hanhart, cause there are like i said brevet and swiss cross stamped on the movement. Maybe some swiss makers copy that hanhart cal.?Any ideas? |

I looked at it and it is VERY similar if not the same as the Hanhart. Very strange. Here is the Hanhart: http://www.watch-prices.com/graphics/rx2104m.jpg It may be Hanhart supplied ebauche to the Swiss. If it is a Hanhart, it's worth something as you can reapit the more expensive war time watches with it. It also looks a ittle like a Landeron 2, but not quite the same. |

Tnx Zaf.Hanhart factory was established in Swiss so maybe they start to produce cal40/50 back then, before they moved to Germany. But the dates does not fit.Hanhart pilots single button started to produce 1939 i think, and factory moved to germany in '20 s or so.Also the dial on my watch does not look like hanhart dials.look:

It could be a predecessor to the Hanhart 40/50. It being a Hanhart is the closest match from the parts catalogs books. Otherwise look into the Landeron 2. |

Which is what I think you have in the end. It's amazing how similar the movement is to the Hanhart. |
