Omega made thousands of women's model watches. There is no way to give you any information without seeing the watch in question. Best to have a watchmaker open it up and take pictures of the movement and inside of the caseback. There may be some numbers there that can help, but not always. Omega has a website where some vintage watches may be identified. http://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/vintage-watches However, you need to complete a free registration with Omega to use the site. Also, please be forwarned, this site is not even close to being complete. So if you don't find the watch there, it doesn't mean much. Hope this helps, gatorcpa |

i was carfully able to open the watch. it has a bunch of dates scratched in to the inside of the case. I beleve these to be dates it was serviced? the oldest one is 1927. the serial number is 625695. it is stamped 14k gold. is there a way to post pictures in this forum? colby http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y261/cfrye11/utf-8BSU1HMDAwNTctMjAxMDA4MjMtMjE0 NC5qcGc.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y261/cfrye11/utf-8BSU1HMDAwNTgtMjAxMDA4MjMtMjE0 NC5qcGc.jpg |

You're obviously looking in the wrong place for the serial number. The 625695 number that you gave in your post is not the number used to date your watch. My guess is that you got this number from the case instead of the movement. The Omega production lists use the number printed on the movement (the mechanism inside the case) to date production year of Omega watches. I can tell by looking at the style of the watch in your pictures that it probably dates somewhere around the 1970s... over 5 decades later than what you had guessed. Greg |

hey greg, i looked closer at the movement it is stamped ... seventeen 17 Jewels Unadjusted (the omega sign) 483 swiss and this number 21043739 you are correct the 625695 is the case number. would that make it more like 1918? |

No, as stated in my earlier post, it's not nearly that old. I originally "guesstimated" the date was around 1970. The movement serial number in the 21 million range, however, puts it a tad earlier at about 1964. 483 is the movement caliber. |

I was hoping that there would be someone who could help me identify my watch, the only information I know is that it is a solid 18kt gold vintage Omega, any information would be greatly appreciated,I have tried on my own for the last 3 days and had no luck, even if someone could help me identify what the numbers mean so I can fill the form through Omega properly.I will try to upload a few of the pitchers I have taken. Thank you Amber

The model number is the top figure engraved inside the case "10511". This would correspond to a ladies watch. However, there is no listing in the Omega Vintage Database for this particular model. I would not be particularly worried about that, since there were thousands of styles of ladies cocktail watches made by Omega during the 1950's and '60's. Only a small fraction of these are documented by Omega. I was able to find a few that were close, so it looks very nice to me. I'm not sure you are going to be able to find out too much more unless you are willing to pay Omega 75 Swiss Francs to research it for you. And that is only if you are outside of the USA. http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/history/order-form Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance, gatorcpa |
