for investment and collector purposes, how much importance should one attach to having a signed or original crown - versus 'generic' or unsigned crowns. Does having a generic crown detract from value significantly? | ||

No it does not detract very much. Most companies didn't start signing crowns until the 1950s anyway. After the crystal, it's probably the first item to be replaced. Personally I place the highest value on an unrefinished dial. |
