Enicar is the name of "Racine" spelled backwards, which I believe was associated with the Girard Perregaux brand at some point.

Probably not too much value if it's just a time only watch.

Sorry, I'm not all that familiar with UK rapair shops. Try calling "Buy Yourself Some Time"
operated by Martyn Stamp, Admiral Vernon Gallery
Portobello Road, London

If he doesn't do repairs, ask him who can in the area. Tell him Zaf sent you to him, he should be of help or at least know where to direct you.

You can try these guys for parts:
http://www.julesborel.com/

I don't think the Sherpa will will have a movement in it that is too hard to fix.

Probably not a whole lot, but posted a picture always helps to make the final determination.

I have been given an Enicar watch that appear to have been a locket (monogramed on one side with grandfathers initials). Does anyone have any info about Enicar?

All I now is that Enicar is "Racine" spelled backwards. The conmpany was established by Ariste Racine in 1914. I don't have any specific information about your watch, unless pictures are posted.

Hi Zaf
I have a mint SS back/plated Enicar with date wheel which I estimate is from the mid-60s. It has the expected Saturn logo with serial and brevet numbers along with: "Incabloc Seapearl Swiss...Stainless Steel Back Ultrasonic Automatic" But then there is "100/213 BAPS". I recognize that the "100/213" is some kind of production code similar to other ones posted here, but the "BAPS" has dumbfounded me. Ever come across this peculiar word(?)/acronym(?) before? I tried to attach a pic but couldn't. I could e-mail it to you.
