I recently purchased a model 9829, Rolex precision, stainless steel, manual wind. The case number on the back is 1356336. Written on the movement is Montres Rolex sa, Geneva Swiss, seventeen jewels, and the number 0590. It is in non-running condition now. The dial is silver and looks clean except for some crystals (luminous material?) scattered around the edges. Hopefully the crystals can be removed from the dial when cleaned. I have not seen very many non-oyster Rolex models and am hoping someone here can tell me more about this watch. I will be taking it to my watchmaker soon and am wondering if it is worth fixing up? Any ideas on value? |
