I have a Jean D'Eve fly-back "D" shaped watch, unfortunately not in front of me, so no model number available. It is a goldplated watch, bought in Italy about 15 years ago. The cristal broke a few years ago, and I had it "repared" by a jeweler who fabricated a pseudo cristal from thin quazi plexiglass it seems. Horrible job. Any suggestions? Is it worth messing with it? It still runs ok, even though it is a quartz watch. I remain. Your's sincerely. |

Hello Marius, I really don't know if it worth fixing, most quartz stuff isn't and it isn't a brand that's on the collectibility radar. I think the cutting the plexi approach is OK, but someone needs to spend a little more time sizing it up. Zaf |
