We have some mutual friends and they recommended I check out finertimes (drop me an email if you want to know who it is, I am not comfortable putting other peoples names on the web). I think it is really cool. I do have a couple of questions before I take the plunge: 1) Are vintage watches capable of withstanding frequent/everyday use? I would be wearing these in a rotation, so they would have regular use. 2) What is your recommended approach to starting a collection? I was thinking of buying less expensive pieces (500-1000 range) that I am particularly fond of to start out and go from there. 3) Given that pricing point, are there any brands that have standout quality, etc? Thanks in advance and I look forward to doing business with you. |

1. Yes. I'd suggest something that was originally water proof, so look for a screw back watch with a tight fitting crystal. 2,3: The Omega Constellation would be my choice, they can be very reliable and are classics that can be still enjoyed for many years. Zaf |
