Is there a way differentiate between an original Steinhausen 1923 watch and the reproductions starting in 2003?

I have read that one of the original 1923 Steinhausen Kenetic watches is worth about $300,000 today - while the reproductions are worth about $150, if that.

PLEASE help me. Are there any "tell-tale" signs for an original or a reproduction?

There is no such thing as an original 1923 Steinhausen, it's all marking crap and the 2003 is a Chinese made piece of junk!

Sorry for being so blunt, not this sort of stuff really irriates me. Put your $150 in an old Hamilton or something, at least you'll get your money's worth.
