Hi Don , I bought a great Gold watch from you last month I love it and want to thank you again for your help. I have aquired this Rolex thorugh a family friend , it was bought new as a gift in 1994. I am curious as to its value and if you would like to purchase it or know who would, thanks in advace for your attention, I have attached a photo of the watch.

Rolex is not my specialty, but if we're talking a plastic crystal with quick set date, value is $1800-2200 retail. Add $200-300 if saphire cyrstal. |

Actually, I it is all stainless maybe $200-300 less, but often these had white gold bezels in whcih it is the same price. We'd need a case reference # to know exactly what we're dealing with. |

what is a case reference # is it the serial number that you have to remove the case to find? I know that I have seen jewlers remove part of a rolex to geta # fro verification of its authenticity B |

No, you remove the bracelet. In between the lugs, on one side you'll have the case reference # and on the other the case serial #. Best, Zaf |
