HELLO... WHEN MY FATHER DIED IS 1986 HE LEFT ME HIS OMEGA WATCH. I WANT TO FIND OUT MORE INFO ABOUT IT IF I CAN.. IT'S SILVER...NO NUMBERS JUST RAISED SILVER SQUARES WITH SMALLER BLACK SQUARES INSIDE. HAS A NUMBER DAY SLOT. ON THE FACE.. AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED... SEAMASTER. HAS THE SEAMASTER LOGO RAISED ON BACK AND OMEGA LOGO ON STEM. FACE IS GREY SILVER.. NO OTHER MARKINGS THAT I CAN SEE. THE WATCH HAD A CUSTOM SILVER INDIAN BAND MADE FOR IT. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL BAND OR SOMETHING CLOSE. I PLAN TO KEEP THE WATCH AND AFTER SEEING SOME GREAT LOOKING OMEGAS ON YOUR SITE I PLAN TO ADD ANOTHER ONE SOON. THE FACE OF THE WATCH SHOWS WEAR AROUND THE EDGES WHERE THE SECOND HAND MARKINGS ARE. IS IT BETTER TO LEAVE ALONE OR INVEST IN A REDO. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. SCOTT |

Unless the dial is really nasty, it is best to leave it alone, assuming it is original to begin with. Zaf |

Hi, I have an ANCRE wrist watch - its in the 50s / 60s style it has a gold colour with a white face -with raised strokes for numbers with the exception of the number 12 - and has the date counter - in its face is ANCRE AUTOMATIC 25 RUBIS INCABLOC - ON its back is 14kt 0,585 - it has a Spiegel USA band in gold colour. Where is it from ( search engines reveal nothing) and is it worth anything ( I cant find one even on E BAY_ - Where is a good site where watches are bought and sold cheers frank Is it worth anything |
