Does anyone know the first company to make the first wire lug wristwatch, ? Where would (Waltham) place ? Also does anyone know of books available that detail information on the early wristwatches with illustrations.

Hard to say. Most of the very early wire were ladies pocket watch conversions.

Probably the earliest purpose built wire lug wristwatches would be aroung 1905-1910, whereas pocket watch conversions around 1890.

But I'm just guessing.
