1. Wadsworth Pilot "Railroader's" solid gold pocket watch. 17 jewel movement - found by my grandfather in 1909. Serial #1036111. Still works!

2. 1925 Rolex stainless steel with original face. Excellent shape, only loses 1-3 minutes per day. Worn every day by my father. Numbers available.

3. 1975 Omega automatic stainless steel with blue face and white luminous hands. Date at 3:00. Excellent shape, keeps excellent time. I wear it daily.

Thanks,

David E. Cairns

Hi David,

Thanks for using the discussion board.

1. Wadsworth is the case maker, but to know more about the watch, and its value, you need to determine who made the movement. That, with any serial numbers on the movement, will help determine what your grandfather found.

2. That's a very early Rolex and without a picture of some type its not possible to estimate a value. Any Rolex from that time period will have excellent collector appeal, and will be valued accordingly.

3. A typical Omega from that period in stainless steel would typically retail in the $195 to $250 range depending on overall condition and originality.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you can supply any additional information on items #1, and #2.

Don
