Hi, I saw a new Tissot at my watchmaker's this week that caught my eye. It's a ladies 1853 "Ballade" automatic. I really like the size of the watch, the style of the case and the fact that it is a ladies' size mechanical watch. However, I've read that Tissot is not as valued/respected as it once was since it was acquired by the Swatch Group. What are others' opinions on this? Anyone out there own a newer mechanical Tissot that can give me some advice/opinions on the quality of the watch movement? Thanks! |
