I have a damaged antigue Valcheron & Constantin ladies pocket watch. It appears to be 18K, has a monogram on the front cover, is triple signed. It has at least one jewel in the movement, Roman numerals and 24 hour Arabic numbers, small seconds dial. It is badly damaged - front cover is broken off, back was ripped off and mangled, no winding post or hands, crack in face. Is this worth anything other than scrap gold? |

"1 jewel"? If you're not seeing more than one jewel, it would be a fake anyways. Please post photos. |

I have added a couple of pics, but my camera is not very good closeup. It has a serial number on the movement - 307014, and one on the case, but I can't read it. It's small - just over an inch in diameter. So there may be other jewels, just too small for me to see. If it's not a fake, is it worth more than just scrap gold in the condition it's in? Any info is greatly appreciated.

OK, assuming it isn't a fake, condition is pretty rough, so let's call it scrap + $100-200 (for the movement if it isn't a basket case) |
