Glashutte WWII pilot watch. My father got a Glashutte pilot watch from a German FW-190 pilot who parachuted out of his aircraft late in the war. He has had it stored in a footlocker in his attic for the last 30 plus years. It looks to be in good condition and is quite a large wristwatch but is not running. Is it worthwhile to have it fixed?

Definitely worth fixing yes. It's worth at least $1,500 depending (or more) on condition. In fact I am a buyer of this sort of thing if you are selling.
