We have a Waltham pocket watch, was purchased new by my wife's family. I've been unable to locate another to get an idea if it's very special or not, can someone provide detail on this watch ? Make: Waltham Markings on inner works: American Waltham Watch co, 15 jewels, safety pinion, 11111996 Markings inside back cover: 5817016 ORESILVER IO'N FANYS ( there are symbols between these words that look like a cross, or clover, very small ) Description: Outside is silver, inside looks gold, some fancy work on inner works, white face with roman #, wind up is at the 3:, or III position, has a second hand inlay at the 6: or VI position. A small H scratched on the back, wifes great grand dad was Henry. Shannon Murphy Redmond, WA [email protected] |

The watch dates to 1902, but hard to give a good value without knowing the movement size and if the case is silver or not. Could be anything from $75 on up. |
