I have an Omega Geneve,18k gold,dated approx.1960s
It has a micrometric adjuster on the regulator, seemingly, from what I can gather, giving it 'railroad watch'accuracy. Can anyone let me know if that is the case, and if so,is it more valuable than an ordinary Omega movement.
Need urgent reply to this question.

Do you know which caliber it is, that way I can look it up and have a picture available, so that I can have an informed answer.

Zaf,
Think it is caliber nos.565.
Hope this will help.
Also does this micrometric adjuster make my watch more accurate, wich I would presume, and also more valuable?

Hi. Assuming the watch is serviced and none of the parts are worn too badly, the micrometric regular will offer a higher degree of fine tuning to the watchmaker when it comes to making the timing adjustments. Everything else being equal, a movement with this type of regulation will be worth more than the same watch that is without.

The cal. 565 is fairly common from Omega, a real workhorse of the era but yet still of very high quality.
