I have recently purchased a Ernest Borel watch. It is a pocket watch/pendant. I am no watch expert and just starting to get into it. The information I can dig up on it so far is below.

The case is 1 1/4 inch diameter. On the movement it has 17 jewels, Synchron 13, and unadjusted swiss. On the inside of the case it has the following information. Synchron SA, 13.019.31, 595495, and dead center looks to be where they stamped it, but the stamp didn't leave a good impression. There is a barely visable symbol with the first word starting with a PL, i believe, and the word below that 10 microne. No idea what the crystal is made out of. It has a fancy golden dial with black roman numerals. Just an hour and minute hand. Appears to have never had a second hand.

If anyone has an idea of age and such let me know. I would also like any links to sites that may inform me more of what certain symbols or terms are. Just generally any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Feel free to email me. I have also left a picture of it.

If it has "Synchron" on it, it means it is fairly modern, like 1970s and beyond. Looks like a modern watch made out to look like an old one.
