I hope someone can tell me a little more about my grandmother's watch. It is marked Mido, and Powerwind, and is very delicate, with a very small round face, beveled crystal, i think ten teeny diamonds (five on each end of the case). The case is marked 14K GOLD and it white gold. I don't know if the band that is on it now is original, although it looks like it might be. It is a slender expansion type band, silver-colored on each edge and looks like black enamel in the middle. There are two lines of tiny type on the back of each link - i don't have a magnifying glass, so I am not sure what it says. I'd like to keep and wear this, but am not sure if it is worth taking to get cleaned up, etc. |

If it's the steel model, if it's a small one, it's probably worth $175 or so. So you're sort of on the limit of it being worth fixing up to make it a runner. I you love the watch go for it, if not, just leave it. |
